Film idea

The name of my movie trailer is "Hunter." The genre for my film trailer is action and will be set in a open/public area. My film will contain one or two chase scenes and maybe a fighting scene depending on how long the chase scene maybe. The actors I will want to use are Oumar Ahmed, Emman Chauhdry, Miran Garib and Adam Iqbal. The narrative will be done by Oumar Ahmed as he has a deep voice which will work well with my movie trailer.

The storyline for my movie trailer is going to be about a man being hunted down for the massive bounty on him and only one man will stop at nothing to get it. The hunter is going to be played by Oumar while the man with the bounty is going to be played by me and Emman is going to be the person who helps me escape as he will be like my brother, the cameraman will be Miran but will be in some scenes of the trailer. Adam will be the guy who helps the Hunter find the hunted as he is his partner.

log line: "In a small quiet town named Greenford, a infamous man called the Hunter will stop at nothing to claim the prize he wants and never failed to miss one, the hunted is going to be hunted.

Film pitch: In this quiet town the hunted is seeking refuge here until the Hunter finds/knows of his location and will have to keep on running past obstacles and a range of other things for him not be hunted and killed. The hunted will have a plan of action to keep the Hunter away and keep his location discreet with his partner who is also his brother, to stay alive until the Hunter is long gone. The hunted's main plan of action to keep away from the infamous Hunter, is to go to deserted or small towns or villages to make sure he keeps his brother safe as well as himself. The hunted will always have limited supplies and with no money he can only survive by stealing food and drinks to keep up their energy at any time and any place. While the Hunter can get all the supplies due to his reputation and can seek help even from the darkest of places to find the location of the hunted.

Photo shoot will  be at in a field or park, on the road and in a empty area such as a alley way or some sort of dark and gloomy place so we'll have the hunted look like he is running and a collage of all three place in the background to show where some of the man settings are. Also we'll have the Hunters head/face in the background to show how big and mighty he is which has also been used in the Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace as Darth Maul who was the main villain's face was in he background.

Film trailer and poster analyse

The trailer I used is for the new movie The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. the key conventions used in the trailer is the music (dramatic/orchestral), at the beginning of the trailer the cut scenes were quite slow to fit in with the music and later on the video the cut scenes got quicker and so did the music so they both set the mood of the trailer.
They also used some of the main characters voice as a voice over to fit in with the trailer clip.
They use text in the trailer to show the release date, to show what movies the directors did before and also the production blurb at the end.
The iconography used here are dwarves, a hobbit, a dragon, gold, a wizard, elves, fire, explosions, a mountain, orks, goblins, swords, bows and arrows, a ring and spiders.

The key conventions used in the film poster for the movie The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug are the production blurb at the bottom with all the stars and actors. The release date is just underneath the production blurb with the list of ways you are allowed to watch it by and finally the list of companies at the bottom of that.
The colour scheme used in this film poster is that there is dark, evil colours on the left and bright, harmonious colours on the right. It also looks like 'Gandalf' aka the wizard

Movie Trailer analyse

This link is for the new movie The Hobbit: The desolation of Smaug. The genre for this movie is science-fiction, action-adventure so this movie is kind of a hybrid as there is more than one genre in this movie. I can tell this by the movie containing a wizard, a hobbit, elves, dwarves, orks a dragon. This movie also has violent scenes as there are axes, swords and bow and arrows. It also contains that the hobbit and the dwarves are travelling different realms/regions to get back the dwarves home with a dragon in there.

This link is for the new movie The Lego Movie. The genre for this movie is comedy, action-adventure so this movie is also like a hybrid because there is more than one genre in this movie. I know this by the movie containing lego toys as real people, jokes in this movie and a hero and villain. This movie also contains famous lego icons such as batman, superman, wonderwomen, ninjago etc etc. The movie also has a famous actor as one of the main characters which is Morgan Freeman as an old wizard.

The link above is for the trailer Rush Hour 3. The genre for this movie is comedy, romance and action. I know this by the movie containing guns, a girl as one of the main characters, Jackie Chan with his mastery in Kung-Fu and Chris Tucker with his jokes. In this movie we will be able to know about Jackie Chan’s past and if he had any family.

The Angles and Shots task

For this project we were asked to work in groups and the task were to create a little story like movie but by only taking pictures like a little story board by using the establishing shot, long shot, medium shot, medium close up shot, close up shot, extreme close up shot and the over-the-shoulder shot. Also we used the high angle, low angle and the unusual perspective.

In this picture this shows me aka the victim walking up the hill and the show used here was a high angle shot to make the victim look weak and small

Here we see the bullies callin down the victim and we took this shot by using the low angle shot to make the bullies big and strong.

Here we see the the victim and the bullies meet and the shot we used to take this was an establishing shot. This sets the scene of what is going to happened next and give the audience a slight idea

Here we see one of the bullies calling the victim all sorts of names and laughing in his face. The shot we used here was a medium shot and this will capture a shot of some from head to waist

Here we see the victim starts to cry as he was being rude at and the shot we used here was an extreme close up and this emphasises the shot of the vixctims tear rolling down his face

Here we see the victim is getting beaten up by the bullies. the shot we used here was an over-the-shoulder shot to show the action and expression of both people

Here we continue to see the victim being beaten up by the bullies. The shot we used here was an over-the-shoulder shot

Here we see the victim is hiding from the bullies after finally escaping from them. The shot used here was an medium to long shot.

Here we see the victim is again found by the bullies and is again being bullied as he is now being thrashed by them. the shot used here was a long to medium shot.

The Key Concepts Of A Game

The title of this game is called Call Of Duty Black Ops 2, the console logo is the Roman form of the number 2, the background image is of a gut in the dark from the special forces holding a gun in his right hand and a knife in his left. the web address for the main Call Of Duty website is http://www.callofduty.com/. The effect created here is to persuade the audience to buy their game as the company has sold many game which were big hits or possibly games of the year.

The organisation behind this game are Treyarch and Activision as they are multinational companies who release big hits almost every year and this game was released at 16,000 stores as an midnight release worldwide and within 24 hours of the games release it sold $500 million beating the previous game in 2011 Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3

The audience for this game is both for boys and girls but will be played more by boys as the game contains violence and weapons. But there are some girls out there that do enjoy violent type of games.

This stealthy cover has a man from the special forces in the dark with a knife and pistol in his hand while a 2 beams of light shines down his face, with the game title above his head and the multinational organisations on the bottom left.

The fruit bowl task

The fruit bowl task is when we have to apply colours from a image of your choice from a selection of words and I chose the word expensive so we had to use the eyedropper tool to select a colour from or image and use the paint bucket tool to fill in the colourless fruits. I applyed used the lighting effect so it can give tone to make sure the fruit or object looks like they are in one piece as there were signs of lighting. I chose the picture of a watch as it goes well with the word expensive, and the colours I used for it are purple, yellow, orange, brown, green and grey.

Summer Project

The game i have chose to do for my summer project is Need For Speed Most Wanted and the reason why I have chosen to do this game is because the graphics looks amazing by looking at its trailer. The genre for this game is racing as this a car game and its platform is on Microsoft windows, PlayStation 3, X Box 360, PlayStation Vita, Android and IOS.  The institution for this game is Electronic Arts and its publisher is Criterion games. The price for this game is at around £50 as it is the latest Need For Speed game and Most Wanted is the 19th longest running title in the Need For Speed series and was released world wide. The number of copies sold for Need For Speed Most Wanted is 1,610,000. Loads of reviews for Need For Speed Most Wanted says it is the best racing game you will ever play or there is no other racing game that can beat Most Wanted.

The game was marketed at E3 as it was officially announced there world wide and has won two awards for being recognised as the best racing/driving game as it has won the award 2013 BAFTA award and the Spike Video Game award and for it being the Best British game and Best Online Game.
 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eKe7gZLBYo&safe=active

The game uses car used in the real world into the virtual world. You can change cars by looking for cars around the whole game map and by going inside it den you would have unlocked the car but they are in various parts of the map for e.g. alley ways, dirt roads, high ways, and on top of car parks etc etc. And since the game has got really fast cars from F1 cars to American muscle then the police is also gunna have fast cars as you will have to deal with them if you don't drive carefully. In the trailer it will say "To be Most Wanted, you'll need to outrun the cops, out drive your friends, and outsmart your rivals. With a relentless police force gunning to take you down, you'll need to make split second decisions. Use the open world to your advantage to find hiding spots, hit jumps and earn new vehicles to keep you one step ahead.
In true Criterion Games fashion, your friends are at the heart of your experience. In an open world with no menus or lobbies, you'll be able to instantly challenge your friends and prove your driving skill in a variety of seamless multiplayer events. Your rivals will do everything they can to stop you from getting to the top. In this world, there can only be one Most Wanted."

The game has got its own Facebook fan page and a twitter fan page as it will help promote the game and will get reviews of the game. The game also had its own advert on YouTube so it can show people the trailer when they are waiting to watch their chosen video. The target audience for this game is for 10+ as most people up to their 30s and this game is not violent in any way. the game would mainly target boys as most boys like racing games with amazing graphics, cars and challenges. The class I think this game would be mostly sold to is middle class/working class. the main challenge in the game is to become most wanted and you can become most wanted by racing people, outrunning cops and setting records on speed cameras. By earning wanted points you can verse bosses and gain a massive amount of wanted points.

Advertising campaign

Our team would sell the Hunger Games Training game on playstation move, x box kinect, and the wii  at the price of £40 as it is a bit cheaper than most games. Our target audience is between the age of 10-25 as our research has showed us that more people would have watched the first movie in that age group and this is a game for both males and females no one is left out and will be released around November or December as the second Hunger Games movie is coming out so once people have watched the second movie they might also want to get the Hunger Games game.

We have chose to spread the news by showing this on advert on youtube, cinema and tv adverts, we also chose to put posters on busy motor ways like the M40, A40 etc etc. We also chose a celebrity endorsement by getting the main star of the Hunger Games Jennifer Lawrence.

Textual Analyse

Genre
The genre for The Hobbit is action-adventure and fantasy as it contains dragons, dwarves, elves and other unrealistic things. It is action-adventure because it contains violence, death, travelling through different realms.

Audience
The audience for this clip is for people older than 10 so 10+, the reason why I think this is because if it contains violence and death then it should not be suitable for people under the age of 10. The gender I think this should be suited for is mostly boys as they mostly like fantasy films like Star Wars, The Lords Of The Rings, Harry Potter etc etc. This is mostly watched as a family movie as most families like to watch this for family entertainment.

Platform
We can view this clip by watching it on our phones, pc, laptop, tablets by using YouTube or other types of video viewing websites.

Why I like to do media

The reason why I chose to do media studies for my GCSEs is because I thought it was going to be fun and interesting as you can edit videos, film them and analyse them. Another reason why I chose to do media studies for my GCSEs is because I can make films and edit them to what I/audience want it to be like. I really like acting so when we can do films I don't mind doing any role that isn't too stupid or not to my liking but will do any role. I also chose this for my GCSEs because I would get to know new and more people from different years and also my year. I also chose to do this as a GCSE course because we will get to work in a team most of the times as I am a good team player and a good sport.
